Where do I begin?

I have wondered what Project Devious would be about and still come up kind of short. Throughout my life I have only worried about filming and being on sets but now I feel that maybe that is not all that I am meant for. Like many others 2020 has brought to light the struggles and injustices that not only Americans but the world is facing. People are upset, divided, and full of hate and like any person living through these troubling times I often wonder, what is it that I can do to make a difference? How do I not just sit and my hands while the world burns around me? As of now this is the best answer I can come up with, I will no longer use the skills that I have learned for my craft to only better my own life. I have focused so much time and energy on trying to “make it” and feel that this is no longer worth while to me. The human race is hurting and I know I have the ability to help do something about it. Whether it’s recording a moment of injustice, a moment of unity, or even a simple interview it is time that I helped take back the power of media in order to empower anyone that wants to use their voice to make a positive change. It is impossible for everyone to agree with each other but it is possible to listen and find common ground. I hope Project Devious can be the Bridge to making that happen.
